In the Vallon area there's a lot of climbing routes and vie ferrate (equipped trails where harness and helmet are needed!).

The rifugio is an excellent base camp for the vie ferrate Piz da Lech, Vallon and Piazzetta among the most renowned of the Dolomites.

There's also a wide of choice for climbing from the classic Sasso delle Nove, Sasso delle Dieci and Piz da Lech to the single piches.
